Our Story

27 years in the making

After 20 plus years in the heart of Brickell, Perricone’s Marketplace & Cafe has re-opened in the lovely, tree-lined neighborhood called, The Roads, aka West Brickell, just a quarter mile away from its former location.

Perricone’s has been reimagined in a more-intimate, light-filled space with a striking view of the beautiful banyan trees that line Coral Way. A twenty-seat bar sits adjacent to the warm, wood-trimmed dining room, with the reclaimed barn beams that adorned the market in our original location.

Featuring an updated menu of the classic dishes that made the restaurant a go-to for Brickell residents and the Miami business community, Perricone’s offers Italian-American favorites, including popular pasta dishes, as well as lighter dishes that feature fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables.

The Marketplace offers gourmet specialties including imported cheeses, cured meats, chocolate truffles and house-made desserts as well as complete meals to-go.

Steven Perricone

Owner/Founder

From Brooklyn to the Hamptons. From Chelsea to Miami Beach and eventually, Brickell. Steven’s decades-long journey in the hospitality industry has led to this place. His passion, energy and attention to detail are legendary in the business. They are all on full display, on a daily basis, in the new space.

Laurie Powell

Marketplace/Catering Manager

The undisputed captain of the “USS Marketplace.” Laurie’s warm smile and friendly professionalism exemplify the term “hospitality.” Orchestrating Perricone’s high-volume takeout and delivery operation, Laurie takes pride in getting the orders right, and out the door, on time. She also leverages years of experience, as our catering manager. No event is too big and no detail is too small.

Nolen Rizo

Executive Chef

The maestro of the kitchen. The behind the scenes chef who put his heart into every dish at Perricone’s for over 23 years. He has always brought precision to the Perricone’s classics and his buzz worthy daily specials. His soups are a fan favorite for decades. He directs his kitchen with integrity, heart and laughter and in turn that love is shown in every dish that is served.
